Objectives:

After receiving self advocacy instruction, students will demonstrate communication skills that help them to function in e-learning.  

When participating in e-learning, Students will use study skills and ethical procedures for completing assignments. They will engage in learning and assume responsibilities for completing quality class assignments.   

 

1.  Students will obtain information from teachers regarding course requirements.

 

2.  Students will manage their time wisely and plan for completing assignments in a timely manner.

 

3.  Students will self assess the correctness of assignments by reviewing for errors and revise their work.

 

4.  Students will set goals and be determined to earn average to above average grades.

 

5.  Students will self advocate.

 

6.  Students will organize themselves in learning communities to complete assignments.

 

7.  Students will revise failing assignments.

 

8.   Students will self assess their work habits and seek assistance with  developing a strategy for avoiding problems.

 

9.  Students will read, write, and study everyday and every weeknight.

 

10.  Students will complete assignments during the weekend as needed.
